Natalie Hellberg, turning 20 this summer, is not just a competitive horse driver but also an entrepreneur, crafting her own custom browbands as a hobby. She competes with her 17-year-old Welsh partbred pony, Sibelle. Their favorite event is the marathon, driven by their love for speed and excitement.
What Natalie cherishes most about driving is the fact that you never outgrow your pony and the incredible versatility of the sport. Since 2017, when she took over Sibelle from her mother, they have been an unstoppable team, with her mother often joining as the groom.
As Natalie gears up for her first European Championship as an U25 competitor, she is eager to see how they stack up against the competition and is excited to compete on home turf.
