Beginner? Don’t worry we’ve got you

Driving for dummies

Driving is one of the lesser-known equestrian sports, even though it often appears at galas and horse events. Despite its three disciplines, the basics are easy to understand. Once you get the hang of it, driving becomes one of the most interesting and varied equestrian sports. To help you, we’ve created three brochures (linked below), one for each discipline. And don’t worry if you don’t feel like reading them—ask someone next to you, driving enthusiasts are always happy to help newcomers get started.

Dressage

Nothing beats the sight of a majestic team in a gleaming dressage carriage. Mastering dressage requires intensive training to achieve the perfect partnership between driver and horse. Here, the driver communicates through reins, voice, and subtle movements with the whip to perform the dressage routine with precision and grace. Click for brochure!

Marathon

Experience the breathtaking excitement as the marathon begins after dressage. Here, teams swiftly navigate through terrain obstacles in record time. At a powerful gallop, they dash through gates, over water obstacles, and across varied terrain. It’s an adventurous, adrenaline-filled experience that will make your heart race! Brochure is under production!

Cones

In the Cones phase, everything is decided. The results from dressage and marathon are converted into time. Now, exceptional precision is required as teams navigate through gates of cones topped with balls. Each knocked ball results in penalties, and the one who completes the course in the shortest time with the fewest penalties wins the gold. On the final day, the excitement reaches its peak – this is sport at its finest! Click for details! Brochure is under production!
